Each quarter, we spotlight employees who live out our core values every day. This quarter, we’re spotlighting Project Manager John O’Connell. John joined Windover in 2021 as an Assistant Project Manager and quickly made an impact on our projects. Recently promoted to Project Manager, John showed he is adept at driving results collaboratively and always willing to jump in wherever needed to get the job done. This summer, John managed multiple projects on one academic campus and dedicated countless hours to ensuring each project was delivered successfully and on time – as meeting the client’s end-of-summer deadline was critical. As one teammate shared, “John is so great at his job – he perseveres in challenging times and has the Windover spirit.”

What is your favorite thing about working at Windover?
The company culture and people who work here.
What is your favorite part of your job?
Collaborating between owners, trade partners, and design professionals to mitigate issues before they become a problem on site.
What is your favorite part about working with your team?
I enjoy working with my team collaboratively to exceed our client’s expectations.
What is your current favorite thing to do in your free time?
I enjoy fishing and playing golf.
If you were building your dream home, what would it include?
A hot tub and pool, a tiki bar, and a very large garage.
What is your favorite way to get involved with the community?
I enjoy teaching adaptive snowboarding lessons during the winter.
