This project featured the adaptive reuse of a historic mill building into 32 units of affordable veterans housing in downtown Beverly. The new facility offers homeless veterans on-site counseling and job training, in addition to living quarters. The renovation of the 19,000 square-foot building carefully preserved its structural heritage as evidenced by its restored brick façade and large, open spaces with exposed structural elements on the interior, and was completed in compliance with the Massachusetts Historic review and National Parks review.
